Rugby returns to Moor Lane this Saturday with our 2nd XV looking to extend their winning run against Leeds Medics & Dentists RUFC at home. There is some exciting talent in the 2nd XV and this match will be well worth watching.

Meanwhile for the first time in the history of the two clubs Pontefract 1st XV will meet Dronfield RUFC in a Regional North East 2 clash. Dronfield currently lie tenth in the division. Looking through their results shows that they have lost some in some close games to strong opposition, so without doubt this will be tough fixture, and one to savour.

There's junior rugby on Sunday too. Our U13's are in action at Moor Lane kicking off at 1030.

During this weekend our thoughts remain with Selby RUFC and the family of Tom Edwards following his passing. Tom has played against us many times and we have sent our condolences to everyone at the Selby club. Closer to home we are also saddened to hear of the passing of long term club supportor and sponsor Mark Lovett. He was a regular and popular visitor to Moor Lane and we will miss him. Enjoy this weekend's rugby, and respect the officials and our opposition. Remember that there are two lads who would love to have been at a match this weekend.
