The club was busy last night with our Annual General Meeting. Presentations were given by the outgoing Chairman, Phil Atkinson, Treasurer, Carl Smith, and Chair of Age Grade Rugby Simon Fletcher. With Chair of Rugby James Grant currently in Australia he provided a video update. The full version of his presentation is available to view on the website.

The club would like to thank Keith Tonks for preparing the management accounts for the meeting. Tony Brown was awarded the Henry Robinson Trophy for Clubman of the Year.

Phil Atkinson had previously expressed a desire to stand down as Club Chair and wished the incoming Chairman John Cockcroft (pictured) every success in the role. John is well known to members having been both Chair and President before. Phil will remain on the Exec Committee. Mick Parkinson stays on as Club President. Steve Hough (previous Chair) also stood down from the Exec Committee. The other members of the Exec Committee remain unchanged (Jim Cain, Simon Fletcher, James Grant, Carl Smith.)

In addition to the members of the Exec Committee the following will also sit on the General Committee with defined roles:

Andrew Tucker (Safeguarding)
Rob Weston (Women's & Girls Rugby)
Tony Dedicoat (Membership)
Richard Fletcher (Sponsorship)
Mick Caulfield (Grounds)
The role of Health & Safety Officer remains vacant.

The following General Committee members do not presently have defined roles.
