The Annual General Meeting of Pontefract Rugby Club will be held at the Clubhouse on Thursday 4 July 2024 at 8pm.
A formal notice is published at the clubhouse and sent via email to members.
It’s not just a question of rubber-stamping the financial statements.
Why should I attend the AGM?
All playing and full members of the Club are encouraged to attend in order to:
(1) elect officers to manage the Club for the forthcoming year
(2) see how the Club has been run over the last 12 months
(3) hold the board and committee members who have managed the Club’s assets, ambitions, policies, finances and strategies to account
(4) share their views on how the Club could be run over the next and forthcoming seasons
(5) ask questions, tackle the issues, debate the answers, offer solutions.
It’s a members’ Club. We all own it; so members are encouraged to let their feelings be known how they would like it to be managed.
