After having the Easter Weekend off, and cheering our mates in the Wakefield District Raiders American Football Team, its time for cup rugby to take centre stage at Moor Lane.

We look forward to welcoming Leek RUFC to Pontefract on Saturday. Leek enjoyed a winning start against their local rivals Walsall RUFC, and will be looking to further improve their chances of progressing in the competition. Pontefract lost out narrowly to Old Northamptonians , so a win for Craig Fawcett's men will be vital if we are to keep our Twickenham hopes alive.

Kick off is at 3pm and we know that Leek are bringing a lot of support, so it would be great if we could get another bumper crowd to get behind the boys. And don't disappear after the final whistle as the League Championship Winners Trophy will be presented to joint captains Liam Kay and Steve Reynolds after the game.
