Pontefract's 2025 - 2026 Fixtures are out and the club is looking forward to hosting old and new clubs at Moor Lane. The league sees Selby coming down as they switch with Rochdale who have gone up, as well as Goole getting relegated from NE2, with Pocklington coming up from Yorkshire 1.
The coaching team and players know there are no easy games in the season as well as a tough Cup game being drawn Away to North Ribblesdale on September 27th.
Pontefract finished 7th in the league last season, with 12 wins, 10 loses. Looking on improving this for this coming season, the coaching team at the club are working hard with the playing squad in preparation for the two pre season friendlies against Dinnington (16th Aug) and Wath Upon Dearne (30th Aug) before starting the league campaign on the 6th of September at home against Wetherby. We hope to see as many club members, supporters, family and friends down supporting the squad in all games over the season.
