We thank Liam for his contribution to our club,
- Steve Hough - Club Chair

As many of you will have heard, our captain Liam Kay is taking an opportunity to relocate to Australia to play for Whitsunday Brahmans RLFC in March of this year. Whilst as a club we are devastated to lose our leader and, to say the least, one of our best players, we congratulate him and wish him every success down under.

Liam has always been a rugby league man but joined our colts team under Eggy and Banners, where he developed friendships and a passion for the club that remains to this day. In partnership with the club he has developed to become one of the best players to ever pull on the famous blue shirt. There is no doubt that the unparalleled success of the club on the field in the past few seasons would not have been possible without Liam. He not only has developed as a top class fly half but has become a leader on the field and off. He is someone the juniors coming through look up to and has been a great ambassador for our club and the game of rugby union in the locality which we know is a hot bed for rugby league.

So on behalf of the club we thank Liam for all his contribution to our club, and wish him safe travels. He can be assured there will always be a pint and a welcome at PRUFC on his return.

Steve Hough
Club Chairman
