This weeks Sponsor of the week is A1 football Factory. We’ve always had a close relationship with A1 as the CO-owner Simon Fletcher has been a member and player of Pontefract RUFC for the last 20 years. As soon as the opportunity arose for A1 to sponsor Pontefract RUFC, A1 took the opportunity and became our second shirt sponsor for the 17/18 season.

A1 football factory has become PRUFCs second home for the inter months with training going to be field and indoor based. So we will be seeing much more of the facility this year specifically their state of the art functional fitness centre ‘Unique Fitness’ with fantastic trainers filled with enthusiasm.

Our newly developed facility will initially host 5-a-side football and touch rugby along with the space for future plans to extend towards other sporting sectors in order to have a multi sports facility that meets the needs of many residents in and around the surrounding area. Our primary focus is to become Yorkshires leading provider when it comes to 5-a-side.
The facility will initially boast the latest development in synthetic grass, a dedicated 3rd Generation surface. The only indoor facility in the local area to offer maximum comfort under foot, which will only add to your overall experience. The artificial 3G surface has been used to hold UEFA Champions League games, and FIFA promotes the use of synthetic so holds the FIFA 1 star performance rating equivalent IATS classification, as well as meeting EN15330 part 1.
Playing late will never be a problem. The all indoor facility will keep your match going till 11pm. Open from 10am, 7 days a week. If you want a casual game every so often or fancy the challenge of a league or an exciting tournament, A1 Football Factory is the place to be.
