Harrogate RUFC have retained the Yorkshire Cup with a 38-3 victory over Sheffield Tigers
The National 2 side took an early lead and continued to dominate throughout, especially with their impeccable defense which was solid as ever. Sheffield Tigers valiantly fought back in the second half but Harrogate proved too much.
Was nice to see old faces who have worn the Ponte shirt, the Brady's back at Moor Lane, with Captain Jake Brady lifting the Trophy on Pontefracts terrace.
Pontefract was a proud host to the Yorkshire Cup and hopes in the future we can hold the prestigious event again
In a fitting way it was the 125th anniversary of Pontefract winning the Yorkshire Cup in 1891
Well done to both team taking part and also thank you to all the people who helped on the day from the bar staff, car parking attendants and the U12s team who were ball boys for the occasion
