Match report Morley RUFC 2nds v Pontefract RUFC 2nds, game played Saturday 05.11.16. at Scratcherd Lane Morley, kick off 2.15pm.
Pontefract 2nds suffered another tough and consecutive encounter, this weeks game against a well drilled and proficient Morley 2nd team. Whilst holding their own, for the main in the set piece, scrums and line outs and showing glimpses of true potential. Once the organised Morley 2nds found a way through the defence, particularly down the flanks, the points difference started to stack up and it became a one sided points scoring contest. Ponte kept at it but on the day were outplayed, however, a highlight being fly half Richard Hossack scoring 15 points. Pontefract were 24-5 at half time and 77-15 at the final whistle. Man of the match for Pontefract 2nds was Andy Coleman, with stand outs Will Story and Kieron Tucker, the latter improving with every game. Thanks to Billy Coleman for his team support.
