Pontefract RUFC is a busy community rugby union club with senior and age grade matches taking place most weekends. We also have occasional evening fixtures on weekdays.

Matchday hospitality is an important part of the club. We can cater for parties of up to 100 persons for seated meals and larger numbers buffet style. We also provide simple post match meals for players and informal counter service for hot beverages and snacks etc.

We are now seeking to employ a Cook and a Kitchen Assistant to to help us in the delivery of our catering service. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the kitchen, including food hygiene, cleanliness, maintaining equipment, ordering stock, preparing and serving food.

This is a part time role, and there will need to be some degree of flexibility with regard to working hours depending on our fixtures. We would prefer someone with catering experience, although this is not essential. Applicants should either hold a food hygiene certificate (Level 2) or be prepared to complete a suitable online training course to achieve this qualification.
